It's funny, I was just thinking about this song the other day and wondering if Curtis Salgado still had this in his repertoire. I remember his band called the Nighthawks from Eugene, Oregon doing this song in the mid-1970s, but I haven't heard him do it in recent years. The song was originally recorded and written (in part) by the great soul singer O.V. Wright , one of Curtis' musical heroes. Over the years he has covered several O.V. Wright songs including "I'm Gonna Forget About You", on which he and Robert Cray used to harmonize, when they were in the same band.
